When sexual assault allegations are brought out against a Republican, the Dems are always ready to hang him. When sexual assault allegations are made against a Democrat, all the other Dems come to his defense or they keep quiet.

Because Pubs keep claiming family values and try to legislate morality it bites them in the ass every time.

Until we leave morality to the church, pastors, and congregants who show by the fruits of their life and witness that morality is a value... this will continue.

Morality comes from citizens, not from the government.
 
I don't know about the judge, but when the Sheriff found out that I called my female 7th grade teacher "old" and "fat" when I was 12, he said he couldn't promote me to Colonel with a clear conscience.

This gives politicians that want a way to back out of voting to confirm Kavanaugh, the ideal excuse... why else did the dems wait until this week to break a false allegation so the vote would not pass.

What was that?... innocent until proven guilty. Nope ... stained by false allegations - works every time.

Dems have been doing this for decades. Does not have to be true, the man can't prove it did not happen... can't prove a negative.

It gives the liberals a way to say they can no longer vote for that person.
Several red state Democrats facing tight re-election races, who have been considered potential Kavanaugh votes, said Monday that they want the allegations thoroughly investigated.

Sen. Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota said in a statement posted on Twitter Monday that Ford's allegation is "serious."

"Ford should be given an opportunity to testify before the Committee and she is willing to do so. Judge Kavanaugh has also expressed his willingness to discuss the issue with the Committee," Heitkamp said. "It takes courage for any woman to speak up about sexual assault, and we need to respect Prof. Ford by listening to her and hearing her story."

Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., echoed Heitkamp. “I am deeply troubled by these allegations," she said in a brief statement. "They should be examined thoroughly and fairly by the Judiciary Committee without any artificial timeline.”

We no longer trust you!

Confirm Kavanaugh...
Or you get retired!
 
The Democrats have become so predictable with the sex allegations, it's seriously hard to believe them anymore. When I read that Trump appointed this man, the first thing I said was "wonder how long until they trot out the women accusing him of sexual abuse"?

Yet their loyals still believe them.

You know, maybe if she was found by two friends immediately after the incident in a room with evidence of a struggle. Maybe if she had physical injuries and was undressed when she was found by those two friends. Maybe If she were crying hysterically and immediately named her attacker. Maybe if those friends later testified and all three stories matched. Maybe if prior to her testimony her attacker had paid her over a half million dollars in hush money.

OK then, what if there was DNA evidence on the blue dress she works that day?
 
Mark Judge will not testify. In a letter to Grassley he said that he has no recollection whatsoever of the incident described by the accuser and could add nothing to the investigation.

I would rather have him say that under oath, but rationally there is no upside for him. I'm sure any lawyer would tell him not to testify, and that is probably what happened here.
 
I wonder if the accuser thought she was gonna get to stay anonymous...
Then Ms Feinstein screwed her over (for the country you know)...
And she all of a sudden got cold feet (perhaps because she knows she is lying)...

It was a different country back in 2012... folks were still naively idealistic...
Today, folks have little tolerance for someone attempting a scam.

The problem is unless she is horrible during the hearing, she will be believed and portrayed as the victim even without concrete evidence. She'll get bonus points with the media if she starts crying. Sad, but true. The republicans questioning her can't be too harsh or they will be portrayed as being mean to the victim. The press is on their side.
 
One female member of the committee said that "It's time for men to shut up and step aside".

Hell. No. As long as a woman can ruin a man's life with a specious accusation of assault, men will not be shutting up and stepping aside. We've seen how that goes.
 
I'm pretty sure he'll be confirmed.

This is just another dog and pony show to get the sheeple fired up.
 
Investigate what? It was 30 years ago. She doesn't know exactly when, she doesn't know exactly where, She doesn't know how she got there or how she left, and the only named witness says it never happened. That should take about 15 minutes.


It's less than any other he said she said ever invented.
