There will not be an FBI investigation...
Ms Ford needs to show up Monday to testify...
If she does not...
The vote for confirmation will go forward...
Even the couple of GOP senators who were calling for postponing the vote...
Are on board (at this time)... for a vote.

Sounds to me... like some back room dealing was done.

Personal comment:
I wonder if, with the 'de-classifying' of some information...
A few folks were told something like: We have this information concerning your actions... you play ball or else... :D

IMO: Bret Kavanaugh, as a SCOTUS judge, will be good for the USA!
Also: Ms Ford was given a fair chance to bring here complaint... she does not seem to want to do so (refuses to testify... well at this point anyway).

This was, IMO, handled properly.

RBG's seat, (Ginsburg) is next...
3x Trump appointments will change the court...
And Clarence Thomas said he may retire to be SURE his seat remains in 'the proper hands'...
If that happens... 4x seats... well the court is set for a generation!

She said that she recalled another person at the party, a person she only knew as "PJ". Well today a person who was known as "PJ" in high school sent a letter to the committee stating that he never attended such a party and has no idea what this woman is talking about.

She needs to go back to training little fascist SJW's, and leave the big decisions to the adults. She has done enough to earn her cred with the Socialists.

At first I had a little compassion, maybe a couple of drunk teenagers got to frisky wrasslin' at a party, and maybe she was scared. But with every revelation and every statement it just crystalizes into a hit job. I now wish that Kavanaugh could sue her for everything she has or will ever have without looking like an ass. This is textbook slander.
 
I heard this morning that he should still be confirmed UNLESS another woman steps forward with a similar accusation.

That's my thought as well. If there were serious consequences for such acts,,, the bull crap would stop!!!
 
So why would she pick Mark Judge out of a hat as the witness? Well it wasn't random my friends, Mr. Judge penned a book called "Confessions of a Teenage Drunk". How do you think the Democrat's questioning of him would have gone? No my friends, this was planned beginning the moment Kavansugh's name was mentioned.

The woman who made a FB post claiming to have first-hand knowledge of the incident, and then deleting the post, has been contacted by investigators for the committee. At that point she fully recanted her statement, saying that she "felt empowered by her post but did not know she would have to defend her statement" to the committee or in public. She further told MSNBC that she did not know if the incident occurred or not, but she supports her highschool friend.

She felt "empowered"...let that sink in for a minute, because that is the goal here, truth has nothing to do with it. Truth be damned.

So when (not if) the left and MSM whines the GOP railroaded Ms Ford...
The FACTS will say different.

Last I heard... she was given ONE DAY extension...
ONE DAY...
Which, as I understand... means show up on Tuesday!

Personal opinion: Ms Ford is terrified of being questioned under oath... she is smart enough to know she is gonna go down if she does.
 
It's a complete joke at this point. Republicans are giving her lots of options including doing the questioning in California so she wouldn't have to travel. Democrats are bashing the Republicans for not being fair to her when they have been very accommodating. Latest is she doesn't like to fly so she plans to drive from California. I get that on some level but I'm sure there could be a private jet used to get here across the country. It's a complete joke.
 
Late Friday night her lawyers said they "had accepted the committee's offer" to tell her story but we're hashing out the details. Grasey said that was news to him. Hatch said that they were no closer than they were six days ago. It's all theatrics.

As long as the private GOP polls say the public wants to hear Ms Ford's side... the GOP will play along with the stalling game...
Then when the private GOP polls say the public is tired of the game and no longer believes Ms Ford's story... the committee will say:
Enough... and have the vote... and Mr Kavanaugh will be come Justice Kavanaugh!

Then it will be time for RBG to kick the bucket and Trump can appoint another one...
And the charade will play out yet again...

Sheesh...

Anyone have a good war movie to watch???
