We don't even know who "these guys" are anymore.
 
They don't want this bombing linked to any Muslims. They want it to be a white guy and say he is a right wing extremist.

I really hope that Boston PD stays in the loop. They might be our best defense against conformational bias in the DOJ. If you look hard enough for a white guy with a chaw in his mouth, you will find one. I'm just sayin'.
 
As in...Chechnyan Muslim Russian nationals, I wonder? Not saying they are, certainly. But they do have a certain reputation for violence. MAJOR violence. (Yes, I know Chechnya is not in Russia. Wait a minute...didn't Russia take them back over in that last set-to? Whatever...)

And speaking of the useless media, they're now saying something like 35 dead in West, Texas, and all we're still hearing about is Boston. I am NOT minimizing Boston, but honestly, have you heard nearly as much about Texas as Boston?

Also, I'd be interested to know whether the Texas thing was a spontaneous occurrence, or if somebody set something off. I know the official explanation is "no terrorism", but there sure have been a LOT of refinery/chemical plant explosions and fires since 9/11. Just sayin...

I'd kinda wish they wouldn't. Preezy & Co. will just parade him through the civil courts and he'll get a fine lawyer and this won't be resolved 10 years from now.

11.42 (06.42) The two suspects may be foreign nationals, according to NBC's Pete Williams.

Quote They were legal permanent residents... They were in this country legally, at least a year. They appear to be from Turkey, possibly Chechens from Turkey. That seems to be the nationality here.

We're told they were not students, in their early twenties. One 20, one 21. We don't have their names yet.

The Associated Press has also said the suspects are from Russian region near Chechnya, and had lived in the US at least one year.

Yep, he'll get better treatment than our parents/grandparents do.
 
Tons of drama on TV this morning... the entire city is on lockdown.
Residents have been ordered to stay home and lock your doors.... :eek:
 
Mei Lan, I'm glad you made that (possible) connection. The whole Russian thing wasn't making any sense to me. They (allegedly) also killed a MIT security guard, injured a transit officer.
