He's apparently severely wounded. Lets hope that the little SOB doesn't die on us before he sees the needle.
 
They've also detained/arrested three people in the Bethesda, Maryland area. That will be interesting to watch. This may be much bigger than we could have imagined.

I believe those were friends of the younger brother whose homes were searched and who were detained briefly for questioning. They are not believed to be involved.

Four different British newspapers are reporting the search for a sleeper cell of up to 12 people.

I just read that in one report. It's the first mention I've seen. I have read report after report, and watched interview after interview where the authorities stated succinctly that these two brothers acted on their own, independently of anyone/anything else.

Frankly, that's surprising to me. It's surprising that they carried this out without assistance, but it's even more surprising that they are adamant that no one else was involved, especially this early in the investigation.

I read that it was 12 different "sleeper cells" with an unknown number of people.
 
I read it as a twelve person sleeper cell. The same article though, said that they knew it had to be a sleeper cell because the bombs were so sophisticated. You can get the plans off the internet, so.....

I haven't heard a credible source quoted yet. We shall see.

The plans, yes, I think everyone agrees. However, the bigger clue was the "sophisticated" detonation device.

In earlier reports, it was said that they were not detonated by cell phone.
