Braves 2018....

I haven't done the research, but it seems like when we hit the all star break over 500 and a couple of games back, we do well in the post season. When we aren't at 500, we just suck, and when we are 500 and in the division lead, we fall off a cliff.

That's much better than the usual no hitter through the first batter of the first inning.

They also made some trades over the last few days. They got 2 relievers and a power hitting outfielder (also can play 1st and 3rd) for essentially a bag of balls and 3 'prospects' who weren't in the Brave's plans.

Yeah I like the trades so far. I would love to get a pitcher from someone today. I would not mind getting deGrom from the Mets as they are in a rebuilding mode now. Send Teheran to the Mets for deGrom. I have not been too impressed with Teheran lately and he has struggled most of the season. But deGrom cut his hair so his power as a pitcher may be gone. :D

Agreed but if the Mets gave up deGrom for Teheran, their entire front office should be banned from baseball for life.

I hope you are right about what we gave up, but historically we have faced a lot of ex-Braves in the post season, and not to our benefit.
