You would think the DNC would have checked with all the states for the cutoff dates to get on the ballot. Perhaps they did but didn't care, assuming they could bully the Ohio legislature for making an exception. Now, if the DNC had its convention in July and the GOP had its convention after the Ohio deadline, you know the Democrats would be saying the GOP has to follow the law in Ohio. However, if the roles were reversed, the GOP would be making the same argument the DNC is making.

This is kind of funny. The dems scheduled their convention well after the republicans so that they can have all of the perfect comebacks for all of the speeches and add in all of the needed theatrics, but no one bothered to check on the deadlines in each state to added to their ballot.
