Biden 2024

Guess I'll be investing in automobile replacement part manufacturers. Should be a boom of people repairing their ICE cars when they can't get new ones or they are silly expensive due to rules/taxes.

There is almost zero excitement for Biden, even from his base.

There will be an anti-Trump vote, no doubt. But there will also be an anti-Biden vote. The difference is, Trump does have an energetic base that will turn out for him.

Here's what concerns me...this is not a whole lot different from last time. Biden's negatives were not as high as they are now, but even then, people really weren't excited about him. Remember his campaign rallies that looked like ghost towns? To be fair, Trump had high negatives last time.

So how did we get 155 million people to turn out in record numbers to vote for these unpopular candidates, especially given that we were in a pandemic? It makes zero sense. And will it happen again?

Trump set a record within the GOP by receiving the most votes in the history of the party in 2020. Biden set a record for the Democrats and the nation. Each party received increased numbers of votes from absentee ballots. To say the Democrats had to have cheated for Biden to receive that many votes means the Republicans must have cheated as well to benefit Trump.

If it were the goal of the Democrats to cheat to win the presidential election, wouldn't it stand to reason they would have cheated to have the majority in both chambers of Congress as well? What good is it to have the WH without a majority in Congress?

He’s probably not wrong, I think it’s I obvious that Biden cannot fulfill another 4 years as President.

As we've said all along, it's a perfect solution, they avoid the infighting battles that a primary would have caused and they have younger candidate now that can point at Trump's age as being a problem.
 
The thought of a debate between Newsom and Trump does not make me happy. Anyone could beat Biden in a debate but Newsom is slick and Trump is easily agitated and not usually armed with factual data to make more effective arguments.

Gee....I wonder who could debate Newsom and kick his ass. If only we had a strong conservative that has already done that as the nominee.....

See, I don't think there was any "ass kicking". DeSantis supporters thought their guy won and Liberals thought Newsom won.

I watched, and while I thought DeSantis held his own, he didn't hurt Newsom. Newsom is slicker than owl snot.
 
I'm still going with the Dems NOT replacing Biden with Newsom. Newsom has not taken any steps that I can see to position himself; if he was running, he would have moved to the center, but he's still acting the Commie.

If I'm wrong, I will admit it.

And, I still think Manchin is the one we should worry about. If the Dems were to run him, he would likely win.
