This administration's domestic oil policy was to increase the price of gas to promote EVs. They believe the higher gas prices get, the more we will buy EVs. When the liberals in Congress who support the green agenda travel to and from Washington to their home states, do they drive an EV? Most of them fly. Those who drive do so because they live within a reasonable distance to do so. But how many of them are driving an EV? The only news story I've seen reported in the MSM of any member of Congress owning an EV, is when AOC purchased one.
You would think that with so many liberal members of Congress supporting EVs, many of them would own one. I found a news story from July 2023 stating that 25 members of Congress own one. There are 535 members of Congress, 264 of whom are Democrats. Of the 25 members owning EVs, 1 is a Republican. That means 99% of Democrats in Congress are driving automobiles with combustible engines, which, according to them, is causing climate change.

Turnouts are not going to be high the rest of the way since both Biden and Trump are going to be the ones. Why go vote when you KNOW it's not going to make a difference? Most people who are not a stubborn as I am will just not go to the polls if their candidate has dropped out.
The question is will they go in November? Will they vote against Biden or for Trump or just stay home and weep for what our country used to be?
