Atlanta Braves 2017

They did make it interesting in the bottom of the 9th last night but we were down to the bottom of the barrel on the bench for pinch hitters. They had bases loaded with one out and could not score. The one run they did score was a walk with bases loaded. It's all good. I knew they would not win all these games at home.

I'll have to say that after watching them this weekend I see some potential. They have some heavy batters and pitching wasn't too bad either. Hopefully they'll hover at or above 500 long enough to put things together.

I'm looking forward to seeing the knuckle ball pitcher tonight, hopefully he has a good outing. If you haven't watched the Showtime sports preview called "Knuckleball" I highly recommend it. It features Tim Wakefield and R. A. Dickey through their struggles of being a knuckle ball "thrower" in the MLB instead of a "pitcher."
