What are your plans for tonight?

Not much to do here. I will be skyping with someone special when it turns midnight here and then again when it turns midnight there. I get to have two New Years. :laugh
Gonna smooch the screen at midnight? ;D

I don't think I'll be smooching the screen as it might cause my laptop to short out. :laugh

It's been a dang, loooong week :'( My plan is to get home from work, get out of the monkey suit, chill in front of the tube and maybe have a phillips screwdriver :laugh.

But my plans may be disrupted. Mrs. Reacher has announced that she may want to go out shopping for a headboard. She's looking for either an old door or mantel. Where could I get one of those anyway? You could save me a lot of running around if you have an idea :BH

I'd try finding a new headboard at a furniture store myself.

We are having a bonfire on the beach and then celebrating New Year's at a restaurant in the eastern time zone and then walking down the street about 100 feet to celebrate an hour later at a restaurant in the Central Time Zone - oh the joys of living at the edge of the time zones. :)
Since the world was ending at Y2K, we went to the beach. This was in my other life, pre-Chief. We had a big fire and several families showed up. It was awesome. To bad that 2000 peaked at New Years.
I hadn't thought about time zones. My Son can have New Years in the front yard and again, an hour later, in the back yard. I'll be lucky to stay awake for Midnight, Eastern.

Actually, our plans are also contingent on us being able to stay awake. :) Darn that middle age........ :)
All I can tell you is that New Year's 2013, the Highway leads right to the beach. You have a whole year to get ready for us!

The Highway people are wonderful so that would be a great way to ring in 2013. Whew......I better get busy getting ready! :)

Salvage store.

We are staying home with the wee one... watching a couple of movies,
making some homemade pizza, and sipping a few glasses of fine wine.

What movies? I know we are going to watch Rise of the Planet of the Apes. :))

The Goodwill store on 92 in Woodstock has lots of nice stuff.

We are just enjoying some time as a family tonight--lots of snack foods that we don't normally buy: White Castles, poppers, Ro-Tel dip, Taquitos, etc. At midnight we have some fireworks to shoot off. It's been fun to have family time this past week, since we're usually in three different places in the evenings. :))

We might head down to the beach to watch the beach ball drop at midnight, or just stay off the roads and walk down the street to watch the fireworks at midnight. It's a nice view from the marina to watch the fireworks from Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach lighting up the sky and reflecting over the waterway

Chevy and I plan on going to The Harvie Annual New Years Eve Bash.....that's if I get to feeling better.....not feeling well tonight.....GRRRRRRR...

Well, we met some friends at Huey Luey's after I did an awesome DJ job at the wedding reception. Now we're at home, and some friends are coming over.

Maybe we'll run naked through the woods or something.

Nah, too chilly out. ;D

Staying home. I've been throwing stuff away like crazy in anticipation of the move I hope to be making in the next few weeks. (Darn bank must hate me since they can't seem to get me financially, so they're hating on the house I want.)

I was invited to a party, but I'm just not ready to hang out with a bunch of teachers and listen to them whine about kids and/or their job.

Oh, and I'm reminding myself that just because I have the money for a Canon 5d Mark II doesn't mean I should buy one.

Waski is a wise squirrel. (And I'll pray for the house thing to be resolved soon in your favor.)

I stayed home. I was such a dull stick. But after several incredibly turbulent years, I find that being a dull stick is a Very Good Thing indeed. ;)

We stay home every year. We always buy a bunch of junk food. This year we had sliders, homemade mozarella sticks, toquitos, pizza rolls and chips and salsa. We played Headbandz with the kids and then watched Dick Clark's Rockin New Years Eve. We drank champagne at midnight, the kids had sprite, and then we went to bed!

Took granddaughter and friends to Underground for the peach drop. Had a great time. Then we, of course, had our peas and greens today to start 2012 right. God bless all and hope you ALL have a safe and happy new year. :love
