Dang I thought everyone loved boiled peanuts, heck we even cook em at home in the crock pot.

Really, I have more than one recipe.

LOL. I just do not know anyone (at least that they have told me) that does, so I wasn't sure if you were teasing.

There are recipes? You don't just boil?

Recipe #1)
Put one bag of raw peanuts from kroger into the crock pot, one 16oz can of beer, four tablespoons of salt, then fill the rest of the crock pot with water.
Boil on high untill shells are dark brown approx 8 hours.
Recipe #2)
Same as above but use a Miller High Life can of beer (it is sweeter tasting), and add approx four tablespoons of sugar.
Be sure to eat them while they are still warm, if they do cool you can nuke em in the micro wave about 45 seconds.
ETA; be sure to check on the crock pot to add water as needed during the boiling process.

Great I should remind you to rinse the peanuts first, and check the peanuts near the end of the cooking for your desired tenderness it may take an additional hour or so depending on the crock pot.

I really do not like fried in grease things. French fries, pies, twinkies, oreos, doughnuts (cake ones are good), chicken, veggies (why do that to them?) none of it.

I have an Uncle that still put peanuts in his coke. I've never tried it. I could snort a cup of boiled peanuts and I enjoyed my fried PB&J sandwich in CA. SD is a yankee so she doesnt understand this stuff. I think they just put boogers in their pop up there for the salty/sweet combo.
