Sounds fun!! Our program is called "Surge". I think it starts today. Hopefully the turnout is as good as everyone else's!!

And where is this?? Is everyone invited??

My daughter is attending. The email said over 1000 elementary kids.

And that is one reason we aren't involving our selfs in it this year. Its a great thing and the kids have a ball. But, that is a lot of people!!!

I think that it is great that they get such an awesome response even though there is a charge.

The charges are nominal and appear to be placed 100% towards the children and their security. Completely understandable and appreciated with a crowd that large. (That's not really directed toward you or a response to your comment. Just stating that I understand the charge.)

No worries - maybe my comment came across as backhanded, but I just said that because most churches get between 100-200 kids when they charge nothing so I'm thrilled that they can get such a great response even with a nominal charge.

It was very backhanded!!! You brought shame upon my place of worship!!! I smite you!!

How exactly do you smite someone? And keep it G rated - this is a thread about VBS, for crying out loud!

Not every thread, just the ones about VBS and chilren.

In all honesty, it was autocorrects fault. It was supposed to say "I'm smitten with you". Not "I smite you". :love
