We have turned our outside pravillion into a circus tent. Inside will be awesome. It looks like a tent inside with train cars for animals, a dirt bike hanging from the ceiling (you know how those dirt bikes ride in the cages), bars under the stage where animals will be hanging out, a monkey swinging from a trapeze, and some other stuff. We will have a ferris wheel outside (for looks, no one can ride on it), giant pop corn boxes with pop corn with a balloon archway where the kids will enter.
Friday night will be Family Fun night. The kids can dunk some adults, the roller coaster will be running, there will be a bouncy and lots of good food. All free. I'm the snack lady!!!! Friday we will be having pop corn, snow cones, corn dogs, fried kool aid, and kool aid. Hopefully we will be having cotton candy too. It's going to be fun.
The best part of the entire thing for me is that it ends on Friday June 21st and I leave on a Delta flight on Saturday morning June 22 bound for Dallas Texas for a family reunion. I will not be there to take down all the decorations and clean up. Yeah ME!!!! I have been at the church every night last week and I'll be there every day and night this week helping to decorate. So I deserve time off after....in my opinion.
Any kid age 3 to 5th grade is welcome to come and enjoy. I promise they will have a good time. There is lots of security. You can meet Mr. JR. He will be part of the worship team. If you don't feel good about leaving your child, you can come in the kitchen and help or just chat with us while we fix the kids "yummy snacks".
