US General: Half of All Afghan District Centers Under Taliban Control

So, why didn't they fly the Blackhawks out, or were they already junk? They did that with a lot of Abrams tanks after Dessert Storm. It would cost too much to break them down and remove the sand and crud,,, but at least they were in the hands of friendly's at that time. If all of that equipment is intact, I smell a conspiracy!

How many of these Afghan "Refugees" will wind up here in Georgia? My guess is Biden will dump them in red states, along with busloads of illegal Mexicans. SMH
 
I spent almost a total of two years in Afghanistan. The problem is the people. They aren't like us. Very few of them will defend themselves so they do whatever they are told and let the Taliban do what they want. Until the Afghan citizens rise up against them, they will continue to be oppressed.
 
They learned and were conditioned over many years of past experience and they knew we wouldn’t be there forever. They know they could be beheaded or stoned to death at any moment on trumped up charges (little t). They know their kids could be taken at any moment and there would be nothing they could do to stop it.

We have little concept of their reality…we are beyond blessed to be able to say we are born and raised Americans. No matter how bad things get here at home they pale in comparison to the horrors and outright evil that exists elsewhere.
 
For now, the liberal news media is even piling on President Biden... I look for the narrative to change saying his boldness prevented loss of American lives and blah blah blah... I'll always remember this as Saigon 2.0.
 
It's way worse than Saigon. The Taliban is far more evil and brutal, and the rape, torture and killings have only just begun.

I read a story this morning about an Afghan interpreter who worked with our troops. The Taliban cut his arms off, melted his DOD badge into his chest, and hanged him in the streets. His family was killed, except for his ten year old daughter who was handed to the Taliban leadership for reasons I don't want to know.

The headline on England's "The Sun" newspaper today is "Joke Biden". Seems our administration didn't properly communicate with our allies, and now they can't get their people out either.
