Wait...nevermind, the other side never faces charges so it doesn't apply to them. The system will wash it out all one way or the other. If the charges are legit there will be no change, if they were "Trumped Up Charges" (see what I did there) then they'll be dropped or reduced. Surely you would want the system to run its complete course, appeals and all.

The law is supposed to be applied to everyone. Unless Trump's attorneys can prove the charges are "trumped" up, then he goes on trial.

Suppose the next president tries to have Biden arrested for something, anything. I'm sure if you dig around, you'll find something. Same goes for Slick Willie, Georgie Bush, Barry Obama. Where does it go from here? Every political party will try to have their opponent harassed with the threats of jail. This cannot stand. Sure, Trump doesn't walk on water, I get it, but this could open up a door that cannot ever be closed and I just don't think this is good for our nation. Your vote is your voice. If you think Trump is a low down dirty rotten scumbag criminal, then vote for his opponent, but to simply have your nemesis removed from the ballot to ensure your guy a victory is just pure hogwash. It cannot stand.

Yep. I actually dd some research on this and there is considerable precedent for presidential immunity. It was clearly intended, and the reason is exactly what we are seeing now.

The only real question is, just how far does it go? My research indicated a long way, but perhaps not absolute.

If the American people weren't so dumbed down by fake news and social media, they would know that the Jan 6th thing should not be an issue for Trump regardless. The Dems know it wasn't him, the media does too. But they are still pushing the narrative to the ignorant and it's working. Whatever you want to call what happened on Jan 6th, it was organized and planned well in advance. Apparently, Parlor was used a a medium for getting the message out, and the left knows this, that's why they got it shut down. Antifa and BLM know about it, they had people there. There were people there with video cans to record it. And the Capital Police released a memo about two weeks prior to let their officers know it was coming. It was very obvious in the videos that the Capital Police know what it was about, and they even seemed to be "tour guiding" at times.

Folks, this is yet another dry run for control and election rigging. If they get away with it, we may never have another fair election again.

If she misused government funds, she should go to prison. That, however, will not get the indictments against Trump dropped, as one has nothing to do with the other.
