This Week\'s Weather

The Weather Channel is worthless as boobies on a bull.

You got that right, brother. Since they went to "weathertainment" as they call it, they SUCK.

I just pulled this from accuweather:

...WINTER WEATHER EXPECTED WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY ACROSS NORTH AND PARTS OF CENTRAL GEORGIA...

A FAST MOVING UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM COMBINED WITH A SURFACE LOW IN THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL GULF OF MEXICO WILL BRING ANOTHER BOUT OF WINTER WEATHER TO NORTH...AND PARTS OF CENTRAL GEORGIA WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY.

BEST CHANCES FOR ACCUMULATIONS WILL BE ACROSS THE FAR NORTHERN GEORGIA COUNTIES WHERE 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW COULD OCCUR...MAINLY NORTH OF A ROME TO DAHLONEGA AND CLEVELAND LINE. THE REST OF NORTH GEORGIA...GENERALLY NORTH OF A LAGRANGE TO EATONTON AND CRAWFORDVILLE LINE...COULD SEE ACCUMULATIONS IN THE 1/2 TO 1 INCH RANGE. THIS WOULD INCLUDE THE ATLANTA AND ATHENS AREAS. A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW COULD FALL AS FAR SOUTH AS COLUMBUS...MACON AND LOUISVILLE...BUT LITTLE OR NO ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED ACROSS THIS REGION.

THIS COULD LEAD TO SOME SLIPPERY ROAD CONDITIONS FOR THE THURSDAY MORNING COMMUTE ACROSS MUCH OF NORTH GEORGIA.

THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY CONCERNING THE STRENGTH OF THIS SYSTEM...WHICH WILL HAVE AN IMPACT ON HOW MUCH SNOW ACCUMULATES.

When we get to Daytona this June I think I'll pull up one of these hideous snow & cold threads so we can all celebrate that wonderful warm summertime weather. It's just a few months away.... 8)

I'm gonna go with a dusting to 1 inch. As long as it is off the roads by Friday morning, I'm ok with that. I'm heading for Florida Friday morning and it better be gone by then >:D

I know! June can't get her fast enough!

I say we'll get no more than 2". It will be gone late Thursday afternoon because the temps will be warm enough to melt it all.

 You got that right! All I can think about is Clearwater, even if I did spend half of my time there curled in a ball in bathroom floor... at least I had the windows open and could hear the waves.... :)) I want the beach!

PS - I think we will get a little wet crud, but not much.

We'll be at Panama City Beach for spring break. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do there besides lay on the beach?
