The SOTU Address

That was easily the best Trump speech ever (in my opinion). Whomever wrote it deserves an extra free night stay at Mar-a-Lago.
 
My take: I applaud Trump for not mentioning impeachment and for delivering a nice SOTU speech. It was well done and not overly “election mode.” I was preparing myself in case he went Robo-Trump...thankfully he didn’t. About as good as one can expect.

Agreed. He took the high road, and I applaud him for that.
 
I didn’t notice last night so does anyone recall if Trump shook Pence’s hand when handing him the speech.
 
Thank you. I couldn't remember and was hoping he DID NOT shake Pence's hand, especially since he handed the speech to Pence first which shows there was no intent to snub Nancy. My concern was that if Trump shook Pence's hand but not hers that the Dems would have an argument that Trump displayed "sexist behavior" by not treating her as an equal. They'll do it anyway but the evidence speaks for itself. The Dems will continue to attempt to divide in any way they can.
 
Old Nancy claims she ripped the speech up because there was not a bit of truth in it. The AP runs a "fact" check story to back up her claim, by giving most of the credit to our energy growth and economic recovery to Obama, while also claiming Trump exaggerated the facts.
