We just returned from my aunt’s memorial in Birmingham (Parkinson’s) to learn that the wife of a local pastor passed away today from covid. To clarify, it wasn’t our pastor’s wife but that of a one of the Queen’s former co-workers who is now a pastor. We don’t know her previous health history and we don’t know her vaccine status, all we know is that she passed away today after a lengthy hospital stay.

I've looked at the risks and the odds and went ahead and had the Pfizer vaccine.

It's been a while and at first I felt a little 'off' and then.... KILL after a few hours... KILL... I began.... KILL MY LANDLORD to feel pretty much.... KILL MY LANDLORD, KILL MY LANDLORD.... back to normal... ALL PRAISE JOE BIDEN... ALL PRAISE MEPHISTOPHELES.

You know, without any further side effects.

Got word today that my old Army buddy passed away this weekend from Covid complications. Apparently he had been hospitalized for a month and was in a coma. His wife and family made the decision to remove life support after several tests showed no brain activity. He was married with two kids and one grandchild. He was in our wedding years ago, we lost track since then other than an occasional message or email. From what I gather he was a Christian and active with church activities. Man, we had some good times together. Until we meet again, RIP Dale.

(I don’t know if he had been vaccinated or if he had any pre-existing health conditions)

Look at the impact it has on the other employees at the hospital and the patients.
Exactly, the hospital should definitely re-evaluate their stance in order to maintain proper staffing so adequate health care can be provided.

I take no joy in health care worker shortages.

But this is what happens when you start intruding on people's individual rights.

The ironic part is, they're doing this at a time when it appears the worst of the virus might be behind us. Makes you wonder what this is really about.

My wife had been a nurse practitioner for over thirty years. She was required by all of her employers to have certain vaccinations. That is not unusual at all in the health care industry.

I've sold medical equipment to acute care facilities.

As part of the process, I've had enough vaccinations and blood tests that I'm probably eligible for a trip to Mars.

Now.... if only someone would offer up a space rocket and a one-way ticket for that ride, I'm all in.
