Both parties are at fault making this pandemic political. Republicans have gone from everyone should get the vaccine to, "eh, what the hell it doesn't matter if you get it or not."

To some degree, yes. But the Democrats have used it to steal an election and control people through fear. They've also used it to divide the American people. I refuse to participate in the division, how about you?

If Trump were still president and said it was necessary for each state to implement a vaccine mandate, all the Republican governors would be on board with that and the Democratic governors would be in opposition to it. That's how bad politics in this country is today.
Nope. True conservatives stick to their core beliefs and don't let emotion corrupt them.
EX: I almost died from COVID and I'm still on the side of freedom.

In other words, a true conservative wouldn't disagree with what another true conservative is saying. Got it. Every conservative is to tow the line. If not, they will be accused of being emotional.
I bet while you were laying there in ICU having a difficult time breathing, you were wishing you had taken the vaccine. If I recall, someone here posted a question to you asking if you had the opportunity to do it all over would you have taken the vaccine. You said, "probably."
So you support natural immunity over the vaccine. I still maintain without the vaccine your chances are greater of dying from covid than without the vaccine. That's nothing more than thinning the herd so to speak.

This is has been an interesting trial run to see what the Western World would do in case of a REAL DANGEROUS pandemic.
What if Ebola has a mutation that becomes aerosol and gets out next? 90% death rate.
Should the Government shut down interstate travel to try to keep it isolated?
Should the Government mandate business shutdowns to keep people apart?
If a vaccine for that was developed the same way, would you or would you not take it?
One of the best quotes in the Tom Clancy novel that dealt with this was "The Constitution is not a suicide pact".
The second was "They can sue me (the president) later if they survive" (about the travel ban between states).
Of course in his case, the President went on TV and gave the real facts, no the crap that both administrations have given us about Covid trying to "not scare people" or "scare them into doing it our way"
The Chinese are laughing their way to the virus lab to see what's been cooked up lately.
