So let\'s talk about YOU

Rolling down the highway
Tell us a little about yourself.............things you like or don't like - places you like to go.

I'll start. I'm a small business owner with a wonderful supportive family. Four kids, 5 wonderful grandchildren. My mom and dad live down the road from us, moved here in 2008 due to her failing health. I'm just glad she's still with us.

Good Topic! ;D BTW, I'm glad mom is still doing well, naturgirl :D

I enjoy a good forum, never could get into Facebook much but don't have a problem with it

I have a wonderful wife and daughter, both are the light of my life. Both are better looking and smarter than I'll ever be. I married out of my league.

We have 2 dogs. A Jack Russell and a min-wawa. I forgot the correct name for the minpin-chihuahua mix, so I call it a min-wawa ??? Both good doggies and keep my wife company when I work nights....which is ALL THE TIME. :-\\

I am happy to be part of a Southern Gospel Group-Band called ZION. I've been in SGM for 20 years with various groups. No money involved, just love the ministry and the music. Made 5 CD's and I need to remember to give Guard Dad one Thursday. He's currently clean out of drink coasters.

I've lived in Georgia for the past 28+ years and will probably stay here unless someone gives me a beach house in Florida. Then I'm H I S T O R Y! :p

I'll probably retire in 3 to 5 years (can in 2 but probably won't) to finish writing my book. It will get at least as popular as my CD's have over the years. ::) :))

I've made many wonderful friends that are members here, have used some of their services and would recommend them to anyone.

Did I mention that I like the beach? Yeah, I think so.

I have 2 boys and 2 girls all grown. I have 6 granddaughters 8 years and younger . I have been here for 22 years. Iwas born in Augusta,GA but have lived in several places..the best being Key West. I find the older I get the more I crave warm weather, sunshine, beaches and hearing the ocean.

There is just me and my doggy around home now...but he takes up enough room for several. If you ever see a little blue car with the top down in the summer with a dog looking over the windshield as he sits in the seat that's us. ;D

I have 3 children who are grown and two in high school at home. I also have 5 grandchildren. I recently retired from the Army, but I work for the Army as a civilian contractor. I have a great wife and great life.

What school did you go to in Augusta?

Live in west Cobb. 4 kids are in 3 different Cobb schools. I check in here once or twice a day and look forward to it growing and being very useful. Was born in Georgia but moved away young. Then moved back here 12 years ago. Now, I wouldn't leave it except for when we face retirement...I would consider a move to a no-income tax state. I am a member on that OTHER website but chose a new alias for this one. Will keep you guessing for a little while.

Well, let's see...

I'm 53, married for 30 years to my sweetheart, and have a 22 year old daughter attending KSU. She's also the color guard director at Hiram High, though we're not sure if the new job will conflict with that or not. Like JR, my girls are the center of my universe. We also have a very rotten Australian Shepard/Cattle dog mix who's also part of our family.

I co-own a couple of local businesses, one of them even showed a slight profit last year. LOL

I love to fish, though I've been a little too busy to go like I should for the last couple of years. I have an impressive collection of tools and love to build stuff. I also like toplay with computers, though I'm far from an expert with them. I'm a sound equipment fanatic; I have amps and speakers all through my house and even outside so I can listen to music all over my yard. Luckily, I live out in the woods or my neighbors would hate me. Yeah, I'm warped.

We're members at Poplar Springs Baptist and my wife and I are active in the choir. I keep waiting for JR to let me sing a song with Zion. ;D

And I'm ugly...really ugly.

And I work with RNG. Pray for me.

I am 46 and my husband is 50. We've been married 21 years. We have a 10 year old son and a 7 year old daughter (both of whom are precious). I'm too tired at the end of the day to be interesting! LOL

47 years old. Married to a wonderful women who makes me want to punch my ex-wife in the face everyday. In case you didn't know, I ride a Harley and do so year round. I trout fish in NC as much as I possibly can and even carry poles on the bike. Nothing like taking a road you never rode before and happen up on a fishing spot!

I work overnight and have a 3 day weekend, every weekend which is a good trade off for me.

I am straight forward and sugar coat nothing. I treat people the way they treat me or the way I see them treating other people.

I was born in Maine and grew up on Cape Cod (Massachusetts). I moved to Georgia in 1992 and have lived in Dallas since 2005. So yes, I am a yankee!

I used to work on the railroad out west. Was convicted of assault and sentenced. Got a new chance in law enforcement which found me doing some major detective work related to the very railroad I used to work for. Exposed several gov't officials, retired as sheriff, and rode off into the sunset with the Waco Kid. (a limo picked us up. :)) )

And here we are.

I'm 29, lived in Georgia all but 6 months of my life.

Married with a 2 1/2 year old daughter and a son due in April. Here is a pic from Christmas day.

I run a computer service company as well as teach at Chattahoochee Tech.

As far as hobbies, I'm an avid homebrewer and I enjoy wood working as well.
