Should I?

I've always liked the look of the regular cab. I hated the double cab when it first appeared. I guess I got accustomed to it. One of my reasons for the recent trade was so I could take both grandkids to school. Also for another "trip" vehicle. Love that color by the way, but you already know that
I just hate that most double cab come with really, really short beds, which are the reason that I buy a truck to begin with.

I needed inside storage, so my Colorado is an Extended Cab. It does shorten the bed a bit, but at lease its over 6' long.

I miss my extended cab 150 with 8'bed and straight 6 engine. It was heck to park, but it did it all.

Yeah, there's the rub. An 8' bed on a crew cab is like parking a limo in most parking lots. The same holds true for a dually, they are too wide to fit comfortably in the average parking place.

Single cab trucks do look better, but they aren't nearly as useful for everyday driving unless that is all about hauling.

I've mentioned that the bed on my RAM is shorter than I prefer. At 5'7", it does struggle with hauling longer stuff. I have to drop the tailgate whenever carrying 10' boards.

The bed on my Tundra was ideal for me, it was about 6.5'. Of course, the cab wasn't quite as big as the RAM, but I rarely carry rear seat passengers, so I would prefer the difference to be in the bed. But it is what it is. I have trailers if I need to carry big stuff.

OK....serious voting question alert...and no, this question has nothing to do with politics. :D

I've decided to not go with the wheels I posted previously since I really just don't like dark wheels like that. I was going to settle for them since they are usually available as take-offs for really good prices but I just can't. My Honda Passport has similar dark wheels and I just don't like them that much. The ones posted previously do look better than the factory 17's that will come on the truck but not as good as the two options below.

So, which of these two options looks best? I can't decide. Both are 18" wheels.

Here's another picture with the top honeycomb wheels. Truck color doesn't match what I'm getting but this pic does show how these wheels look with the chrome bumpers which I am getting (and the regular cab).

Honeycomb wheels have been ordered. Now for tire selection....

Is it weird that I haven't kept a vehicle long enough over the last 30+ years to ever have a need to buy new tires? I think I remember buying some for a car I had in high school but haven't since then. Speaking of which, as a result, I never really thought anything about how TPMS sensors work. Now I know they are battery powered and communicate wirelessly (which is obvious if you think about it for a second but I just never have). Pretty cool technology. :D
