SCOTUS to overturn Roe v Wade??

All heck is going to break loose if the ruling is announced and as expected. Part of me thinks there will be a last minute change in the outcome.

Reports are Roberts has been trying to get the vote changed. Hopefully he isn't successful.

Roberts has been the biggest let down to the court in recent memory. There are other justices way more progressive but we knew that when they were appointed. Roberts was supposed to be a conservative constitutionalist. He is a moderate at best and he will have to show me verbatim where abortion is a constitutional right.

I may be wrong, but he may be the one who leaked the decision in an attempt to have the decision changed.

Well, I hope Roe is overturned. Regardless of what you think about abortion., Roe was a terrible ruling, not at all supported by the Constitution. It's time to correct the mistake the former court made.

Supposedly they're deliberately stalling in defiance to an anticipated decision. They're "proving" a point to release their decision on their terms and timetable.

Or they've chickened out on the original decision, and Roberts is trying to sway some votes over to the liberal side.

But the closer they get to mid-terms, the greater the potential issue for Democrats to rally the troops over.

GOP states to criminalize travel for obtaining abortions

If any Republican states are actually planning to criminalize travel to other states where abortion is legal, then they should reconsider. Whether one agrees with abortion rights or not, letting states decide is how it should work and arresting someone in a red state for something they did in another state (that is legal in that state) is going way too far.

If that's even true. I don't believe much of what I read in the media anymore.

Click bait in an attempt to sensationalize the issue. SCOTUS should not wait on anything.....make the announcement (whichever direction if may fall) and let the chaos begin. Either way there will be chaos, of course much less if it remains unchanged because the pro-life side is more civilized.

This is troubling

If the SCOTUS decides to overturn Roe v Wade, it's because Roe violated the constitution when it took it out of the state's hands and made it a federal law. Therefore, it would be unconstitutional for a president to issue an executive order saying otherwise and the EO would also be a constitutional violation because the president has no constitutional authority to legislate.

Agreed, but that hasn't stopped him yet.
