I've always said that the life inside a woman's body trump's (no pun intended) her convenience. I don't mean to make light of carrying and raising a child, but human life is more important than any sacrifices we might have to make. The argument of "My body, my choice" really doesn't stand up.
We're not worried about the body of the mother; we're worried about the body within the body.
Yes, it would fall back to each state to regulate and/or allow. Insurance coverage would depend on state laws, I believe.I'm not anywhere near informed on this.
Won't this just throw it back to the states to regulate it?
I'm also assuming if that is true, that the states would then regulate if their health insurance for employees living in that state must have it covered or now.
Sadly, I fear you are correct. Like Trump himself last election, this may be the liberal trigger point this election. This goes way past an attempt to sway SCOTUS with public opinion. This is at the level of a Lex Luther world domination strategy and it is evil genius 101. People there is no other topic that divides the country and motivates the left like RvW. Neither climate change, LGBT, BLM, inflation, immigration, foreign policy or economy trumps RvW on an emotional level. This will energize the left and be used to convince moderate women to vote Dem in November and from here on out as long as the make up of the court remains the same. This is the A-Bomb of politics in this country. The left is desperate under Sleepy Joe and desperate times call for desperate measures.
