Great News: Middle daughter was released today and is now back at home on bed rest. All is well with her and the baby. The Queen is going down tomorrow to help out for a while or until the baby decides to make his debut.Update: The doctor still hasn't been by their room. Vitals for mom and baby are stable. In a waiting mode so we're just going to stay here for now. The son-in-law thinks they'll be in Albany until either the baby is born or until mom is at 35 weeks which is Monday. We're packed and can be in Albany within 3 hours.
Sadly, yet another prayer request. Both the brother in law and aunt of a coworker are in the hospital. Both are not doing good at all.
Prayers appreciated. Thanks!
The brother in law recovered from this illness (the aunt recovered also), but the doctors never identified the root cause of his illness. About two weeks ago, he started having the same symptoms again and was again admitted to the hospital. He passed away tonight leaving behind three children (one still a minor). His wife (my coworker's sister) died 5 years ago from cancer so the children have now lost both parents in the last few years.
My bad, clicked the wrong forumThis would be more appropriate on the jokes page.
Absolutely.A guy I went to school with, David Heathcoat, is in the ICU with COVID pneumonia. He's basically where I was two years ago, and he's not doing well. Even worse, I get the feeling he's losing his will to fight this. it bothers me because I still remember oh too well how terrible and discouraging the ICU under COVID isolation was. It was only my faith and family that gave me the will to live and fight to get better. I know he's a man of faith, but not sure how strong the other is. Having been there, I'm trying to encourage him to keep fighting.
Please lift him up in prayer if you would, please.
