Nikki Haley 2024

Since Trump's victory in Iowa and DeSantis dropping out, the tone of the press has shifted dramatically.

Clearly, no one thinks Haley is still relevant, she's just....there.

I wonder how long she'll stay in the race?

I predict she will drop just after the SC Primary, if she lasts that long but we’ll have to wait and see.

I would think that if the money lasts, she would hold out through Super Tuesday in March. Once the dust settles the question may be moot.
Back in the day, the second and maybe the third place candidate would hang on to have a say in the platform planks... but now that there is very little platform and certainly no planks, there is no point in spending the massive amounts of money that it now costs.

While it's true politicians usually don't mind spending money, they must have the money to spend. Haley is making a brave noise, but the math says she has almost no pathway to the nomination. I suspect she's hanging on just in-case Trump gets taken out, but it appears there's not too much concern over that.

Her donors will likely make the decision for her. Most will not continue to give once there is no chance of return for them. I have my doubts she can go on much longer unless something breaks.

I don't see how Haley can hang on much longer. The party has pretty much told her to eff off.

I did read earlier than some anti_trump group gave her some money, that might buy her a little time.

I may not care for Haley but this crap ticks me off. Someone could have been seriously injured or worse from such claims.

Nikki Haley Targeted in 'Swatting' Incident

Authorities responded to a fake emergency at the South Carolina home of Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley last month after a man claimed to have shot a woman and threatened to harm himself at her home, according to town records obtained by Reuters.

The previously unreported "swatting" incident is among a wave of violent threats, bomb scares, and other acts of intimidation against government officials, members of the judiciary and election administrators since the 2020 election that have alarmed law enforcement ahead of this year's U.S. presidential contest.

Haley Suggests She'll Stay in GOP Race After South Carolina

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley on Sunday accused party leaders of not being honest brokers in her campaign against Donald Trump and said she did not have to win the nominating contest in South Carolina to stay in the race.

Haley, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, told NBC's Meet the Press that the former president would become even more "unhinged" as the campaign for the Republican presidential nomination progressed.

Haley is trying to gain momentum against Trump after coming in third place behind him in the Iowa caucuses and second place in New Hampshire.

Maybe she knows something!!!
