SO TRUE!!! Abstinence was taught to me by my mother and I was a virgin till I married. I teach that to my kids as well. There is a program that is offered called True Love Waits and my daughter went through that program in our youth group at church and she very proudly wears a purity ring that says true love waits. She has had girls ask why on earth she would wear that ring and she proudly tells them, why would you not? why would you give up the most precious gift you will ever give to someone? to someone you don't love? Why not wait? There is a guy in her chorus class who also wears a purity ring, and girls "try" to date him and see if they can push him to give it up....what's that tell ya about some of our kids?? He and my daughter call each other purity buddies..lol
