I am boycotting a grocery store

OK, so here's how this is gonna go down. Sadie proceeds to meeting with manager as she normally would. And then standing quietly a little bit behind her looking innocent but Very Mean are unionmom, Mrs. B, ShoeDiva, Gator, and me. We will stare seriously at the manager the entire time. I think Mr. Manager will get the point. ;)

(PS - Mrs. B, you can't bring Baby B...the cuteness factor will offset our Very Mean theme. :D)

Btw - I deliberately left out Madea and RNG...I think they're prolly too nice to project that Very Mean look. :D Also, RNG is running around like a chicken with its head cut off this week.

Um, is that good or bad that we have mean looks? :laugh

Oh, it's not bad. Usually, we're mild-mannered sweet ladies who contribute to the happiness and well-being of others. But when we need to, we can Look Mean. And Be Mean. ;) But there are people in this world - my mother is one - who couldn't look mean no matter how hard they tried. Sometimes Mother will be going somewhere like say, the grocery store at night...not often, but once in awhile. I'll tell her now look mean walking to and from your car. And she squints her eyes trying to look mean, and all she looks like is a really kind, sweet person who's trying to look mean. :shakinghead: It's not good or bad; it's just different. Being able to Look Mean comes in handy when you need it. Sadie is one of those persons who can't look mean, either. That's why she needs us to back her up.

(As you can tell, I've given this some thought. Do you think that means I need therapy? :D)

GAH!!! I don't know what I was thinking!!! Mea culpa! Of course you can go!!! :hangsheadinshameforforgettingnaturegirl:

Or instead of standing there looking mean we could go there with a ton of little kids and look like we're about to set them loose at any moment. Imagine the mass destruction a wild group of sugared up 1 1/2 to 4 year old kids could do to a store.

just sayin'

LAwd...y'all are crazy!!! hahahah

So the store manager called me back last night...I guess I impressed him with my amazing phone skills and he offered me a job... lol

so he said Now Thursday will be an interview. I told him I had a job that I loved... But it is going part time next week and I need some extra $$. I told him my job now comes 1st and for most and if I decided to take the position he offered it would have to work around the days i am off

sooooo, I have NOOOOOO CLUE what to expect...none i was not expecting this. But apparently someone knows me there and they also told him I am a great person... bwhahaha.. I tell yall strange things happen to me

OMG, that's too funny!!! Perhaps they need someone with some business sense over there. LOL You haven't talked to anyone named John Black have you??

nope... his name was Robert

I am still like 0_o I have never complained before and have it turn into a job opportunity

OK, so maybe we'll back off the mean thing for now. This is interesting. (Although I really liked UM's idea of going in with a bunch of sugared-up kids. :D :D :D)
