If it is the one over on Nebo/Dallas-Nebo ... it's such a nice looking store but I hate going in there because of the employees.

The staff there really will be their undoing. They have great produce, a wonderful meat counter, and on and on but the attitudes at the front of the store are horrendous. There one bagger or whatever he is that acts like he's getting paid to hang out and if you need anything you are an inconvenience to him. Many of the cashiers (not all) at best have no personality and at worst are snippy and seem to have perpetual PMS. Combine that with a "why even bother" coupon policy and I really have little incentive to go there. They can have the best food in the world but why should I put up with all that other crap to spend my hard earned, over taxed money???

Exactly!!!! I went on a huge shopping trip last year for a party. Two buggys I was dragging around the store and get to the front. No cashiers. I left my buggys and went to the front and the woman came out and said, "Oh here I am, you can start scanning now." I replied with a laugh, "No those two buggys over there are mine." She looked at me and stated, " I know that. I saw you pull them up. We do not have a full time cashier until 9am. YOU will have to self check out." Very hatefully I might add. I looked at her (and all my work) and said, " No actually, you will go put it back, because I have decided I do not want your food." I walked out. I was my final straw with them. I was paying more for many items (though that was what I wanted) and I already had to shop, put the food in the buggy, put it in my car, take it up from my car and put it away. I was not adding taking it out, scanning, bagging, and putting it back in the cart. How many times can one person handle each item??!!

I am not surprised that it is the only grocery store that does not have a ton of cars in the parking lot at all times. It is sad, because they do have some great items.

I have no clue. I did send an email to corporate and the response was the standard that is not the type of customer service we aim for we will let the store manager know. Heard nothing else.

That store has already had a number of store managers through it. I can't believe regional hasn't figured out that the staff is the problem in there by now. They'll close it up and blame the location or something when they could just fix the problem and do very well there.

Sadie ... it is absolutely beyond me that anyone would say that to another person ever but especially when they are in a customer service role and on the clock. wth?

As for the chicken salad ... as I said, you may have to resort to making your own. Just buy a pre-cooked chicken from one of the other stores and go from there.



Meanwhile, my little one and I were just in the Ingles in Rockmart and the folks in there couldn't have been nicer.

I've been in that store twice......once to fill a prescription .........and once to get me a buffet salad for dinner....and I saw flies walking around the food and almost gagged....then went to pour myself a cup of coffee and the creamer was floating all on top cause it was cold........Haven't been back to that store since....but the cashier was nice and saved me $35.00 on a few things that I did buy.....I got my savings and left.....LOL....oh well......as for as the chicken.....I would cook it myself...that's just me though....
