Fur Babies ... Show em if you\'ve got em

Here is Hunter, aka "Dooder Butt". He passed away January 18th 2010. He was my snuggle bug, sweet as can be but a crotchety old fart. Everyone in the family called him "The Godfather". LOL

One more post! Sorry, I don't know how to post a pic and then lable them individually, LOL. But, these are from Tuesday, both my babies playing. BabyB LOVES Charlie, and Charlie LOVES BabyB. CUTEST.THING.EVER. I promise I am not far, as I know some people are nervous to think of babies being so close to dogs.

Toooooo sweet, ole Dooder Butt! Funny, I lost one of my dachshunds back several years ago, and my nephew nicknamed her "Godweenie"! :love

Aww, we never tire of the furr baby and baby posts! How precious and such good memories.

I'm thinking I'll hava get another pooch after I get back from the cruise in May. I miss my buddy.

I'll always miss the "pool patrol" Gigi

This is Lucy. She is our precious baby that is an answer to my 11 year old's prayers. He has always wanted a dog. He, unfortunately, is highly allergic to them. Every night, he would pray, "God, please take away my allergies so I can have a dog."

About six weeks ago, we found this sweet baby girl on our back deck. She was scared to death, but after a few minutes of showing her some kindness, feeding her some bologna, and giving her sweet talk, she came over and curled up at my feet.

I never thought I could love a puppy so much! (I'm not a dog person.) She has been the perfect little buddy for my son, and even though she still has some puppy issues (she loves to chew!) we love her so much!

Aww...IF, Lucy is precious! Look at that face!

Mrs. B - those pics are PRECIOUS!!! a) Yes, we were worried you'd go to Wal-Mart :snicker: and let the dog babysit Baby B, and 2) that dog would take off somebody's arm if they tried to bother that baby.

For those whose pets have passed away - you never ever forget them. GD, that face of your dog in that pic is beyond precious, as is Dooderbutt's. :D I know they're not the same as children, but they are most definitely members of our families, and it is fitting and right they should be remembered with love. And yes, grief over the death of a beloved pet is valid.

I note that I'm the only cat person here. I wonder what that means. Hmmm...

Both son and I are highly allergic to cats. Plus they are sneaky little things, cute as heck, but sneaky.

RNG has a cat. (and dog)

Oh, yeah - cats are sneaky. They are hilarious, though. I always say dogs are the most fun animals, and cats are the funniest animals. They have such interesting personalities, and such disdain for their staff (us). :D

:laugh That is true!

Cats are psychotic ... what does that say about their owners?

Did I mention that I have a cat? He turned up one day when he was about 4 weeks or so old. Tiny, tiny little thing. Lucky little so-n-so that he happened upon us.

Mei LAN, you are so funny! I'd never go to WalMart! Haha!

You know, he watches people with the baby like a hawk. He's such a good boy, but he's got his eye on BabyB. My MIL gets kind of nervous if I'm not around when she's got the baby. Lol

SD is right I do have a dog and cat as you see below. The sweet doggie Ginger is supposed to be my daughters dog but she is my baby.

The fat cat is my son's cat. That cat hates my daughter and I :laugh. Found that cat here at work when she was just about 4 weeks old. I bottle fed that stinkin cat for 2 weeks..dang thing thought I was it's momma. Now the only person in the house that can hold that cat without her growling and being royally ticked off is my son. I think she needs to go on a diet :laugh

I put the Wal-Mart part in esp. for you. :D Funny about your MIL. When I was little, the boxer who lived next door loved me totally. He was at our house all the time. He just about took apart one of my boy cousins who was roughhousing with me one day, and I wasn't even hurt or anything. I can imagine what he'd have done if I'd been in real danger.

That we're sick twisted freaks, but we already knew that. ;)
What's this "we" stuff? You got a mouse in your pocket? I am perfectly normal and mentally well balanced.
