It's fiction/mystery and maybe thriller? It's about a retired cop who gets involved in a corruption within the sheriff's dept. he unwillingly is involved, but once he is he can't back out...

And, thanks to everyone for the reviews. They are a GREAT BIG help! :DN Anytime I consider an on-line purchase, I ALWAYS read the product reviews. If there aren't any, it makes me second guess and hesitate to buy it. You all are the BEST! :love
 
Is it only available in digital form? I have a reader on my phone but that screen is too small. I have one on my laptop as well but I'm not sure I could stare at the screen that long. I like to turn pages.
 
It is right now. I forgot when he said the hard back would be out.

It sort of reminds me of a Sandra Brown novel. Not the romance, but the other ones.

The publisher emailed me again today. The print eidition will be available the last of July or the first week of August. I don't blame you about the "phone reader", Bro. I'm lucky if I can read my daughter's text messages without getting a headache :(

I bought it twice. The first time was for me, and like y'all, I only have a laptop and a phone. Meh. Then I bought it for the Mrs. who has a Kindle. I just need to get the Kindle away from her so I can finish the book.
