I know a few guys that met him when he was filming at a steak house in, I think it was Lawrenceville. They said he was a very imposing figure and that what you see on the show is not an act. He's very serious about the work he does.

So he can cook? Cool!!! Add him to my list!

How's this for off topic...we used to watch her a lot when my daughter was around 2 and 3 years old.One day we were at the Wal-Mart and she was pitching a 2 year old fit. I mean kicking and screaming, so I picked her up and was heading towards the door when Rachael Ray came on one of the TVs in the store. My daughter stopped crying instantly and yelled out, "Ook! It Wacheal Way!" And then she started laughing and that was the endof her fit for the day.

I like Anne Burrell as well. And Rachel Ray; I've heard she is a lovely, bubbly person in real life. She did a show ($40 a day, I think) in Chatt, and the people that worked with her said she was incredibly nice and down to earth.

Giada also did a show (or an event? Can't remember which) and the BFF's husband (who is a chef) said she is a witch. But smokin' hot. LOL

I love Pioneer Woman right now. Everything I've ever made of hers is delicious. And she is funny. LOL

PW is SUCH a refreshing change from most people on cooking shows. I love that she's an "accidental" country girl, or however she says it, and she's made so much of her life on the ranch.
