When are you

My husband usually does the exterior illumination on the weekend following Thanksgiving.

I will start decorting the inside of the house some time around the first of December,
and two weeks before Christmas we will go pick out a beautiful fresh fragrant fir tree.
(Selecting and decorating the tree as a family is a huge part of our Christmas tradition.)

:love

We did that when DD was young. So much fun to pick and cut. What great memories!!

No work for me til after next Wed when I am cleared by the Doc. Hubster is even vacuuming!! :cheer1 But the minute I am cleared, I am gonna start! I love decorating for Christmas. Everything is so bright and cheery!!

I love it when it is done! :)) It takes a bit to get it all out.

Why yes, it does. When DD was young we had the huge tree. Then we scaled down and most of the decorations don't fit! She has gotten quite an abundance from us. We have yard stuff and all around the house stuff. I just love the finished product!!!

I wouldn't put up a tree if my kids wouldn't pitch a fit. I just haven't had the Christmas decorating spirit the last few years. I threw our tree away last year because half the lights quit working, so I think maybe I will get a small tree this year, just not in the mood to put all that crap up :laugh

Put it up! :Stick ;D

Except for the first Christmas with my 1st wife in 1995 and the past two years when my second wife has put one up, I haven't had a Christmas tree since 1986.
The tree in 1995 was thrown at me on Christmas day, me and trees, not so much.
