decorating for Christmas? My son already has his tree up and his room done. :)) I might let him start doing a few things in the house tomorrow. Since we have a huge bunch coming this year for Thanksgiving we will probably get most of it done within this next week, so we can just spend time with them and not worry about getting the decorating done for all the parties here.

We always decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving, but since our son's birthday is that Saturday and bbg is planning a hunting trip that weekend, we will probably do it the following week.

We will probably start this weekend. Fortunately, we're only having one party here and it's part of a progressive dinner so it won't take much to get ready for that.

Progressive dinners are fun! I haven't done one of those in about 6-7 yrs.

What's a progressive dinner?

Well put the tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving. Not decorating much... I have little hands here that loves to pull/grab/yank every single object in sight.

I hate them, but it's our neighbors so it's not bad, but I would rather just have the whole party at one house.

:)) Fun times! I remember gating around our whole tree!

One course at each house for a progressive dinner.

I generally have everything decorated inside and out and ready to light up by Thanksgiving evening. Have the inside done and starting outside tomorrow. It will not be as much this year, but I will have it ready to light up Thanksgiving night.

Not sure how much we'll do this year, most all the festivities will be at the daughter's house.

not sure yet It Depends When i wanna start dragging all the decorations out of the storage room and through my bedroom

Did a bit last weekend.

We'll do the big chunk in a couple of weeks, on the first weekend of December.

My husband usually does the exterior illumination on the weekend following Thanksgiving.

I will start decorting the inside of the house some time around the first of December,
and two weeks before Christmas we will go pick out a beautiful fresh fragrant fir tree.
(Selecting and decorating the tree as a family is a huge part of our Christmas tradition.)

:love

Because of entertaining we can't wait that long, I wish we could!
