What\'s for Dinner?

We had linguine in vodka sauce (from a jar, I didn't feel comfortable going to the liquor store with a baby to buy a couple of small bottles of vodka, LOL, but I am going to make my own soon), sauted zucchini and squash, and 7UP bread. I got the recipe for 7UP bread off Pinterest, and Oh My Goodness its good!

What's everyone else having? I need ideas. Lol

Nothing. My migraine is back :'( food would make me :sick. The big question is, whose home does not at all times have at the minimum one bottle of vodka? :faint

Explain 7Up bread.

No vodka in my house. Not a serious effort against it or anything ... just not something that we use/drink. Hubby doesn't drink and I'm a merlot/cabernet kind of gal.

Except for MrB's Friday night Makers on the rocks, we don't drink a lot of liquor, lol. Beer is what we normally drink.

The bread is 2 C Bisquick, 1/2 C dour cream, 1/2 C 7UP and 1/4 C butter. Cut the sour cream into Bisquick, add 7UP and mix. Meanwhile preheat oven to 450 and melt butter in pan. Coat counter with Bisquick and pat it out. Put in pan and cut into squares and bake until golden.

Not good for you, lol, but really good.

) For her. I can't read stuff like that. Even in my murder/thriller books, when a scene starts I skip. Luckily most do not have that.

Also...currently making chicken enchiladas. I realize it's a little late for dinner, but I wanted something to have tomorrow since I work all day and won't have time to make anything.

Last night I made corned beef and cabbage in the pressure cooker. For dessert I made peanut butter parfaits, which were very tasty! Not sure of the menu tonight yet

Lord....how I hate these threads!

They bring out all my GUILT about how this is the one area of being a wife & mom in which I'm not gifted.

I hate to cook! I hate working all day, and going home to slave for another hour or so to have it gone in 15 minutes and have to do more work to clean up! How do you people enjoy this?!?!?!

Seriously, if I could find somebody who loves me enough to add 4 portions to their dinner makin' each evening, let me swing by and pay them.....I'D BE IN HEAVEN!!!

(And to answer your question....it will probably pizza at the basketball game!)
