MrB loves French onion soup, and I'd never made it before.
I had no idea what is in it, so I did a Pinterest search and all of them were beef broth, s&p, garlic, bay leaf. That was mostly it, except this one. Alone, it was terrible. The cheese topped bread dipped in it, it was okay. I just made my own bread, which is a crusty loaf that tastes like French bread to me.
