VP Debate

I wish there was a 2nd VP debate much closer to election day. Pence is much better at promoting and defending Trump than Trump is.

:coffeespit:
OMGeeeee... I was going to say, I was driving, Heels Up Harris was asked a question, then they let Pense respond. Then asked him a question, and as I got out of the car, she was responding back ...and what an effen whiner!!!!!!!! Her voice is almost as annoying as Hillary. Perhaps that was the reason she did so poorly in the Dem Primaries. She is not very likable... perhaps it is her voice?

I was thinking the same thing, ugh, to have to listen to her voice for 4 years. Is there not a woman who has a better microphone voice.

Pense being a radio host, has the right skills. Heels Up... not so much...errr none.

Based on my newsfeed (no doubt a true reflection of the American conscience), it is clear that in tonight’s debate both sides have outlined their visions for the future and the American public has listened; people have considered the answers of both candidates with an open mind and come away with a better understanding of how we can work together to improve our nation; minds have been changed and progress has been made.

I think Pence did a good job putting Harris on the defensive on her ticket's agenda that will raise taxes and kill job growth; while putting the country much more in debt. He put her on the defensive as well by bringing up her own record of justice inequality as both a DA and CA Attorney General. She was snide and condescending; the same qualities voters rejected during the primary debates.

The MSM realizes Harris is not a good debater and they want to blame the fact on gender.

However, while watching post-debate coverage, the columnist took a swipe at CNN anchor Jake Tapper, who asked if Harris' gender prevented her from "steamrolling" as much as Pence.

"I wonder if a woman candidate feels like she can't push as much or steamroll as much as, say, Mike Pence can for fear of seeming and offending some segment of the electorate," Tapper said. "I'm not saying it should be that way but I'm wondering if it is that way."

There are women who are great debaters and men who are not. Harris is a VP candidate who wants to be POTUS. Her problem in the debate is she couldn't demonstrate she's a leader, while VP Pence could. It has nothing to do with the fact she's a woman. Hell, I knew and worked for some great leaders who were women while I was in the Army.

Tapper like many others have realized she lost this debate and now want to give her a crutch by saying she's a woman. I really think women who hear what he and others on the left supporting MSM should be offended by those comments because they're actually saying that women are not capable of being good debaters because they are afraid to offend someone. Sounds to me like they are saying women can't help being weak and that's BS.

Definitely a more organized debate than Trump/Biden 1. Pence presents himself as a person with class and manners which is a stark contrast to DJT. I did not see a clear winner (both made points directed at their constituents) but would lean slightly toward Pence. The moderator tried to keep order and I thought sometimes went a bit to the bitchy side. Some of the questions were a bit biased/leading I thought. I don't have an exact example but some of them were like "Under the current administration racial tension is at an all time high how will you correct the mistakes of the DJT administration"? Like I said not an actual question but an example of putting the idea that under DJT there are problems due solely to his administration. I don't think anyone changed their mind on who they are voting for either way.

Wonder if this is true?
