US government monitoring suspected Chinese spy balloon over northern states

So China selling armed drones to Iran is dangerous but potentially armed high altitude balloon flying over the U.S. poses no threat. Got it, clear as mud. Seriously though, I’m sure it’s not armed anyway.

Jurisdictional airspace is 60,000 ft. That balloon looks like it is well below that level. Therefore it is violating our airspace.
Just curious, do we have similar instruments over other country's airspace? Why would a balloon be different than a satellite? Serious questions.

Altitude I think. If you are above the accepted limits to be in "space", then you should be ok. Below that, you are in that country's airspace.

Russians used to try all the time to shoot down the SR-71s at up to 85,000 ft and shot down a U-2s that flew at up to 70,000 ft.

Internationally, space starts at 380,000 ft, the US says it starts at 254,000 ft.

I picked out granite yesterday and I think it is the same as you have (or very similar). Same style cabinets too except I'm going with brushed nickel hardware.
Hopefully you get better pricing now.
