Not surprised. In many ways he is a throwback to those who took the job as a public service not to make a buck. If he could control his outbursts of stupid I’d still be a supporter.

This may be the tactic they were going for all along, fix it so that he can't campaign. If he appeals the ruling in New York, it won't be overturned until it reaches SCOTUS. If appeals courts drag their feet, it could take a while. Also, I think they plan to keep him tied up with depositions and such for as long as they can. It should be fun to watch this chess game play out.

A gag order wouldn't keep him from campaigning. He would just have to not talk about the NY case. Maybe he could talk about his plans and proposals if he wins. Nah...he would just spend the extra time bashing other Republicans.

I don't think it's fair to blame this one on Trump. I honestly don't think he did anything with Stormy Daniels, and from what I understand she finally admitted that he didn't. It's not that I think Trump was a righteous man when it comes to sex and stuff, I'm sure he had his share of booty calls. But it never made sense to me that he did anything with trash like Stormy Daniels.

Sadly, it's not uncommon for rich and powerful men to pay out hush money. We live in a society where it's often cheaper and less trouble just to throw money at stuff like this instead of actually fighting it.

I think it's a pretty safe bet that the Democrats set the whole thing up to start with. That's their M/O. If DeSantis runs, the bimbos will come out of the woodwork too.
