Trump Says He'll Be Arrested Tuesday as DA Eyes Charges

Been watching some news shows while I was working out. The numbers of people rallying behind Trump is massive!

Bragg just awakened a sleeping giant.

Every time they say no one is above the law, remind the Democrats that they created Sanctuary Cities - safe havens for people who broke the law but were allowed to live without prosecution.

Scott Adams:
"Not above the law" is an asshole thing to say about a politically motivated indictment. Call it what it is: Hunting Republicans That's what DEI is too.

I'm going to Costco this weekend to get a jumbo size package of popcorn for next week's show.

To be clear, if Trump is found guilty of breaking the law and the facts of the case prove it beyond a reasonable doubt then I have no issue with whatever the outcome is from any conviction. I'm not going to play the game like a typical liberal or democrat...the law is the law and I can only trust that he gets a fair trail should it go that far. If he is deemed ineligible for re-election then so be it, let the chips fall where they will. I won't even go as far as saying the only reason it's gone this far is to affect 2024 because frankly none of us really know. I highly suspect it as well as for other reasons, payback being only one. Like Covid and Russia Gate, as well so many other issues involving goobermint, the storyline doesn't necessary equal the truth.

It should be interesting.

I suspect the big question is, just what do they have on him? As to what we currently know, expert after expert has said there is probably no case.

But, reports are that they are charging him with over 30 counts of something. Do they have some evidence we don't know about? It seems unlikely, but I guess we'll find out.

If he has to go down in order to start the domino effect for others to fall then that's a worthy sacrifice, assuming any charges are legit.

Under New York law, an action based upon fraud must be commenced within six years of the date the cause of action accrued or within two years of the time, the plaintiff discovered or could have discovered the fraud with reasonable diligence, whichever is greater.

We know they don't care about the law. But the law will come back and bite this DA in the ass. I don't see this stuff going to trial. Trump's lawyers will start the legal challenges of the charges first because of the statute of limitations. As far as the Stormy Daniels stuff, it was a legal expense. If his lawyer was the one who paid her the hush money and signed an NDA (neither of which is illegal) then billed Trump for it, who in turn paid the lawyer from his personal or business bank accounts, then he violated no campaign finance law.
