Trading With Terrorists...

This Rolling Stone article from two years ago is pretty telling:

He won't be prosecuted and he will go back to his terrorist supporting family. One or more of the released prisoners will be responsible for a spectacular, highly covered overseas attack within 3 years, and one of them, likely Khirullah Said Wali Khairkhwa, will be the next President of Afghanistan and will be the one to dissolve the quasi-democratic government there and establish a Muslim Theocracy. By that time, Hillary will have closed Gitmo and released all prisoners.

That is one thing that is so aggregating, for lack of a better word, about this whole situation. He want's to bring home a trader and put American lives in danger. All the while we have a Marine sitting in a Mexican prison for a mistake and Obama is not doing anything at all to help this poor man. It infuriates me.

Did y'all see Obama with the parents of the man he brought home? The guys dad was speaking Arabic and praising Allah in the American peoples Rose Garden. :girlsaysno :rant
 
This was a terrible trade for many reasons. It's now significant shift in our foreign policy that sends a message we will negotiate and trade with terrorists. Susan Rice states the US did not negotiate with the Taliban; Qatar did. That's one of the most stupid things to come out of that woman's mouth. Qatar served as the mediator in the negotiations.

Now the risks for Americans to be kidnapped overseas by terrorists organizations has increased.

It appears that on two previous occasions, Obama proposed a similar deal for Bergdahl. It was shot down by both the intelligence community and the Pentagon. This time he apparently made up some BS story that the guy's life was in eminent danger and pretty much made the deal behind their backs. One senior Pentagon official who was not part of the direct discussion, but who was part of the pentagon team said that the "time had come to suck it up and salute". I think we all know what he means by that.
 
Oliver North has stated this morning that he has uncovered the US ALSO pain $5 to $6 MILLION in this trade.

On a positive note, this may be the one illegal transaction that may actually bring criminal IMPEACHMENT charges against him. The call to do this is growing, even from the liberal media.

I wish someone would/could explain to me how this is NOT treason. I mean, really, treason is anything the president does that would cause harm to the country. HELLO?? I pray so hard Obama gets what he deserves and is not only impeached but also imprisoned.

I truly expect when his term is over he will disappear. He will go to his Taliban buddies.

Here's what I find interesting. Bergdahl is learning Pashtun using Rosetta Stone before he deploys. His father was able to hook up with Taliban officials on the internet rather quickly after his son was captured. His father apparently speaks Pashtun and definitely appears to have embraced Islam. How easy is it to find Taliban officials on the internet anyway?
