The law on scrubbing voter registration laws need to be amended. 1. If a registered voter misses an election cycle; then they should be dropped from the rolls and required to re-register if they choose to vote in the next election. 2. When a person dies, the municipality that generates the death certificate should be required to send a copy to the SoS so the name can be purged from the voter registration rolls. If that fails to happen, then suggestion 1 will take care of it. These two suggestions significantly reduce dead people from voting. 3. When a person registers to vote, they should be required to provide previous addresses for the past 10 years. This would permit the SoS from removing any voter registration for that person from previous addresses. 4. When a person moves out of state, they usually have to obtain a driver's license or state ID from the new state to establish residency and to register to vote there. The license/ID issuer must confiscate the license from the previous state and mail it to the SoS of the previous state so they can purge the name from their voter registration rolls. This significantly reduces the ability of a person from voting in two states during a presidential election.
