Then why was it allowed?

I'm seriously fed up with this crap! Heads need to roll.

Georgia recount signature-matching impossible despite demands from Trump, Republicans, says secretary of state

It's a secret vote. If a ballot were attached to a signature then your vote would no longer be secret. I'm not sure if all counties saved the envelopes, but even if they did, an unmatched signature could no longer lead to a disqualified ballot.

Told ya'll we should have all voted three times. In person in day of election, absentee, and early.

But that raises all sorts of security questions. The way I read this, most anyone who got the ballot could have voted on it.

There are currently two ways to match a signature. The first and the original is to match the signature card digitized on file with the SOS. This is how most are matched.

As a result of a settlement with the Democratic party, there is now a second way, and this can be problematic. If the signature doesn't match the card, the poll worker must look at the ballot request. If the ballot and the ballot request match, the ballot must be accepted. This is probably what you are referring to, and I agree it could lead to fraud. Unfortunately at this point the state must sue to overturn a consent agreement they signed to change this. It might come to that.

I will say that the Democrats did accurately point out that signatures change over time, but the answer to that problem is a problem itself. The ideal situation would be to mail a photocopy of the ID with the ballot. Yes that could possibly be forged, but the forget would need the original to match the ID number. This wouldn't be a worthwhile crime for a single vote.

So basically if she had won and was our governor she would have been too busy and distracted with how to get out of real work that Trump would have won Georgia and quite possibly no Senate run-off.

Lose a battle but win the war...it’s better than the reverse.

The other part of the mail in fraud is early voting followed by a mail in ballot from the same person. If they are doing their job correctly/honestly, the mail in gets kicked out. Since they didn't even try to verify signatures, I don't see them checking for prior voting, and like LTD says, once it's out of the envelope, it's counted!

Apparently there was a report written and presented in 2005 by Jimmy Carter and James Baker on how to circumvent the election fraud problems that have occurred in this election. Here's an article on it.

Perhaps if this report had been taken seriously and the proposed measures had been put into place; we would have had an honest election that truly measured the voice of the people rather than the desired outcome of one political party.

We also have to remember that up this election, mail in / absentee ballots have been a miniscule portion of the vote. If the margin of victory was greater than the number of absentee ballots, I doubt they were even counted. The procedures put into place assumed that absentee was not something that was important. The Left took advantage of the pandemic and the existing laws to push this election the direction they wanted.

Over 1.7 million mail-in ballots were requested in Georgia. That's more than enough to sway the election.

Another mistake that was made was allowing early voting before the debates were finished. I like early voting, but they started it too early this year. A lot of people were still undecided at the time.

That was intentionally planned by the Democratic Party.

Stacy has been busy
They wanted the early voting to start long before the first debate because they were afraid many Democrats wouldn't vote for Biden or not vote at all if he was incoherent during a debate. As it turns out, the first debate helped Biden more than it did Trump.

Democrats are going to cheat, it's their stock in trade. The object here is to keep it to a minimum. I propose a couple of changes, first is to limit early voting to the 7 days before the election. Second is to send out absentee ballots one month before the election and returned no more than 14 days later. At that time the election board will verify signature and/or photo Id, flag the registration roll as having voted, then store the counted unopened ballots in a guarded vault (Georgia Patrol?), but leave the sealed ballots in the outer envelope until after the polls close for manual verification of provisional ballot voting. Once no further challenges are made against the mail in ballots, they will be opened and counted. All of this is contingent on timely scrubbing of the registration roles before absentees are sent out.

It's not how many are sent out, it's the bogus registrations, timing of the type of voting and verification of the voter that is the current problem. Fail at any point and the democrats will pounce on it.
