The Trumpets signaling the coming of our Lord?

I didn't listen long. I don't know what it is, but I think if it was Jesus, we'd all have heard him loud and clear. :)

Yep, I kind of figure that we will have no doubt when He comes back.

That brought another question to mind... Will He rapture the church before the seven year reign or after?

Let's hear it, my friend... :D

Personally, I believe we will go before, but as I heard a preacher say one time.......I'm pre-trib right now and if I'm wrong, then I'll be mid-trib, and if I'm wrong again, then I'll suddenly become a post-tribber.

After the way I was feeling over the weekend, I thought I was gonna be a certain pre-trib :'(

That's a topic above my pay grade and area of responsibility. I'm not pretending to know or to even have an opinion on it.

I tend to think the rapture won't happen (I'm Presbyterian at heart). But as you said, even great theologians don't agree on this, so I ain't about to think I know for sure.

Our pastor believes in a pre-trib rapture. As a former Methodist, we weren't taught about the rapture - and the whole "left behind" theory was dismissed as craziness.

I had no clue what you guys were talking about so I googled and this popped up:" Are you Pre, Mid, or Post? If you don’t know how to answer that question, you’re probably a Catholic. Most Fundamentalists and Evangelicals know that these words are shorthand for pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation, and post-tribulation. The terms all refer to when the rapture is supposed to occur. Just trying to clarify whether she was laughing at the concept of the rapture or the statement itself about being Catholic.

I am pretty sure you can figure out I was laughing that I did not know, and the first thing that popped up was "you must be Catholic". If you did not know that, see Sadie. You still have not found your funny bone.

This is new to me also, I didn't know we were divided into pre-tribulation, mid-tribulation or post-tribulation groups.
This must be something that started after I quit regular church going in 1978.
That is just what religion needs, to create another topic to divide it's people over.
(sorry, but that is how I feel)
