Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, aka “Che” OC, believes that if Amazon brings $27 billion to New York in tax revenue minus a $3 billion tax break is somehow a $3 Billion loss. Liberal math equals no deal. Political Cartoon and comment by A.F. Branco ©2019.
I don't know, I wasn't paying any attention to New York's Amazon Deal.Just my opinion...
Is it possible the NYC Amazon deal was already in the toilet BEFORE 'Che OC' made her now famous comment???
Was this a way to save face???
Or was she the mouthpiece to end something that TPTB decided they did not want to do???
And curious circumstances...
Seems the line between conspiring to pull off something...
Is getting thin and blurred!
Yup. Ol' Uncle Joe will look like a moderate Republican compared to AOC. By normal standards he would be a leftist.Someone (forgot where I heard/read it)...
Suggested her 'purpose'... is to create a radical left platform...
Then the plan is to nominate a moderate for POTUS in 2020...
And attempt to pull away enough of the Trump vote to win the WH.
Yeah... it might work...
OTOH... Trump is VERY popular... regardless of what the MSM says.
Side note... now that the govt shutdown stuff is behind us...
The markets are improving!
My portfolio is up almost 4% today... expect some more this week.

She's now backtracking on the amazon deal. She's now claiming it wasn't the tax break she was opposed to (yet that's all she talked about at the time). She's claiming now how Amazon moving into that area would have drove rent up throughout much of the Amazon location and beyond, forcing people to move.
Well that's just stupid. "Oh no everyone will be making more money and wanting to live near work". Dumbassery. If you want affordable housing, stop banning it's construction, dipshits. The tax thing was at least defensible. Those kinds of deals never produce the tax revenue that their proponents say, especially when $1,7 billion is an actual donation to the Amazon construction fund, not just a temporary tax deduction. She's now backtracking on the amazon deal. Like Robinson Crusoe, It's primitive as can be.
