Snow Accumulation Predictions

Accuweather doesn't even have us as getting rain. All you snowers can go hibernate now. Nothing from this. Just like I said from the start. Look it up.

The temperature would have to drop dramatically for it to snow and stick! It is nice out today. My car says it is 49 degrees...not hot, but certainly not freezing!

WSB noon news now calling rain Tues. mix turning to snow Wed. No mention of accumulation. I agree that it's too warm to expect any accumulations unless it's heavy snowfall rate and even at that any accumulations wouldn't last.

I remember the first day of Spring in 1998, it was in the upper 50's. For a week prior, it had been getting into the upper 40's. On that first day of spring, it started snowing about 5:00 that evening. It accumulated. Before midnight, we had 18" of snow on the ground.

The temps dropped to what that day? I haven't seen anyone talking about temps here being in danger of dropping that much.

I sure hope not. I can't deal with chains on tires twice in the same year!

The Paulding BOC vote 5 - 0 against this snow. I guess it ain't happenin. :))

They dropped to just below freezing. It wasn't supposed to snow or rain and the temps weren't supposed to drop that far either. It came out of nowhere.

Sounds like it would have been one heck of a pile of snow if it had been cold before that. 18" of accumulation after such warm temperatures without a major freeze? Yikes.

It was like a blizzard and I was working the road. It actually turned out to be a quiet night as it kept everybody inside.

Let me post my original comments. This will be absolutely nothing. I bet there won't be much rain either.

Accuweather is turning out to the most accurate. :B_S
