Shame on Romney and the GOP

In large part you can blame Trump. He's not any better than a spoiled middle-school aged brat on the playground when he doesn't get his way. I also view him as a bully.
I'll not argue with that, I just hope everyone against Trump is be happy with Hillary. If half the effort put forth towards tearing Trump down was spent towards Obama, Hillary, or any of the numerous recent issues we wouldn't be having this conversation. That's what amuses me, it seems most of those against Trump fail to consider why he's even in the race at this point anyway. He should have never gained traction and should have suspended his candidacy after the first round of primaries, certainly after Super Tuesday.

The question remains.....when will a conservative candidate actually win in November and then actually do anything positive for true conservatives? What has the party actually done that deserves my future vote?

Hopefully if anything good comes out of Trump's run for president, it is that republicans in office will know they better start taking action instead of always getting rolled over by democrats.

I think you're wrong about everyone against Trump should be happy with Hillary. Polls (yes, more polls) show Trump would lose to her badly and him at the top of the ticket could possibly turn the senate back over to the democrats. If the goal is to beat Hillary (it should be) then Kasich is the guy at this point. Then Cruz. Trump hasn't won the nomination yet so there is still a chance for someone else to get the nomination.

I understand what the polls say but that's irrelevant if Kasich can't even win a few states in a primary from his own party voters. If we don't want him how can we expect the entire country to want him?

I just do not see R winning the WH at this point. On this I pray I am wrong, but I just do not see it possible. People think Trump is a narcissist, Cruz is downright creepy, and many do not even know or care of Kasich is. The 3 ring circus that has become the R candidates is paying off, for Hillary.

Kasich is just more of the same establishment who has already screwed us over.

You can count me out... let it burn.

I still think Hillary is going to have to drop out after she gets indicted soon. And that's likely a bad thing because that means Uncle Joe comes into the mix who I'm sure doesn't have very high negatives like Hillary.

I don't know if I trust the polling. I can understand Trump not polling well, but the polls has Bernie Sanders beating every Republican candidate handily (double digits), and Hillary beating everyone, but Kasich?

When the turnout is as large as it has been on the GOP side, sure makes me wonder how anybody could come to the conclusion that the mad electorate isn't really mad where Killary is concerned?

The old saying that "Figures don't lie, but liars sure figure" originated in the public opinion polling arena. How the questions are phrased to low-info voters can trigger answers the way the pollsters want the outcome to be.
