Robert F. Kennedy Jr files to run for president

I'd prefer to see MTG on his ticket before Lake for the same reason I'm hesitant with DS, Lake has no experience on the national level. I know it doesn't matters to some people but it does to me.

What experience did Trump have on the national stage?

Trump might be an A H, but he's not stupid. He will choose a running mate that will hopefully be able to offset some of his negatives. Neither Kari Lake nor MTG is that person.

Nikki Haley will have a respectable showing in the primaries, but won't win the nomination. She's running for VP and could be a contender with either Trump or DeSantis.

Back to Tulsi (have I mentioned she's hot?); she's clearly been laying some serious groundwork since she resigned from the Democratic Party and started appearing on the talking head shows and giving speeches. The question is, groundwork for what? I think she's either going to run as an independent or she and Trump have a plan for her to be his veep. Executed properly, she could breath new life into Trump's campaign as well as setting her up for the top spot next time around. Though she is a social liberal, she's very pro-America and conservative on many issues that matter to people. I think she could really fire up the electorate now that she's not held back by the Democrats.

I think that would be the worst mistake he could make. His campaign would be even more polarizing with two of them on the ticket.

Possibly, but it could be what we need to right the ship. The days of nice politics are over, unless we want more of the same. The Dems are kicking our butts, they don't play nice and it's working. It will be interesting to see who he picks though. You can bet no matter who he picks it will be deemed the wrong person. I'd like to see his son or his daughter on the ticket with him. Man, that would piss off a lot of folks.

I don't disagree, but I don't think the ticket could get elected. MTG is everything the Trump haters hate about him.

Regarding a president needing experience in government; history shows that former senators have been the worst presidents, with former reps being next. Former governors and military commanders have been the best. Not enough track records on business people, but I think they are capable of being the best of all.

A president is not a lawmaker, they are an executive. A CEO of the country, if you will. All that is really needed is leadership skills and executive experience.

I'd hold my nose and vote for Trump if he is the nominee and he picked a non-crazy VP. MTG or KL as his VP and I'd consider voting Libertarian.

I don't think Trump was feared by anyone before POTUS except subcontractors and they were afraid of him not paying them. Everyone in power probably knew they could get in his good graces by kissing his ass or giving him a few bucks.

You have access to Google, you do the work.
You're kidding me. That's how you debate? Make a statement and fail to offer anything to prove it's true? No world leader feared Donald Trump before he became president.

Prove he was feared by leaders worldwide as a businessman.

Homie did not play... threaten the USA, tariff on your goods. He knew how to economically protect the USA and discourage bad actors with economics.

We were not, as a country, pulled into any war during his term...

Look at the war machine now ...so thrilled they are making money again as we purchase billions in "military aide" to Ukraine... the whole thing stinks.

Six times he had businesses of his file for bankruptcy. Four of them within a two-year period.

J-Man made the statement Trump had national experience before running for president.
