I am so sorry to read this. Please know that I will be praying. In the meantime, if I find out of any work I can send your way, I'll be sure to do so.

Thank you for the update. Vernon Collett, Post 3 Commissioner, had this same scare last year. He's doing great and the blood clots have dissolved. Scary times for them. Glad to hear he's healing.

My father-in-law was admitted into ICU the end of October and they had to insert a tracheal ventilator and he became paralyzed from the chest down. Now he is in a nursing home and nothing has changed to improve in his health at all. This is a very stressful time for the entire family, especially for my wife. This is a perfect example of why it is important to have a living will when you do not want to be kept alive on life support systems. Prayers for God to do His will are appreciated. His devastating illness is the result of West Nile Virus. A damn mosquito bite caused this terrible ordeal that has inflicted tragedy upon this man and his entire family.

That is terrible news. Hope that he will be out of pain soon and that your family will be able to remember him as the vital man he was for nearly all his life. Blessings my friend, you are in our thoughts.

Prayers for him and your family. Good point regarding a Living Will, it's still on my list to get done.

A sister of a coworker has been fighting a battle with cancer for over 3 years. Unfortunately she found out this past week that it has spread and there isn't anything else that can be done. I don't know her age but I'd guess she is around 45-50. Please pray for Karla and her family.

Sadly, Karla passed away today. :(
