Yeah, I listened for a few minutes and stopped when they were in the "tunnel."

Bwhahahaha

Usually I am not for making fun of people but when you make a show/ movie then you kinda open yourself up

Just like my friend on catering wars.. The way they edit it his mom is not pleased and has given me endless material to use on him

The last house we lived in was haunted. We call him George. Possible a civil war solider as there are entrenchments behind the house in the woods.

He was very bad about walking around the house and passing gas! The wife was always blaming me because the dog stayed outside. I would never do such things!

I'll have to try that excuse.

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to take a few moments, introduce myself, and answer some of the questions and statements given here. We try to be fair to everyone and sometimes, when you don't know the field, details can get lost or skewed. I hope to alleviate any issues you may have.

Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I just hope that they will be constructive.

Thanks!

Yeah well I have tried to contact Paulding Paranormal before just to ask them places to check out and such. No responses, nothing. Seemed kinda rude for them to ignore me just because I was in a group in the same area. So while it sounds cool and all I prob wont go see it. What most people don't know is that the paranormal community can be very territorial which is really dumb if you ask me. We are all in it to help people understand what is going on. Why fight and bicker about territory? It happens more than you know.

Yeah it's really stupid. I really wanted to work with those guys and maybe team up with them but from the silence I got it seems like they want it all to themselves. I could actually see them telling places to not let anyone else investigate there because they are the only group that can. They may not be like that, but that is the impression I get. I truly hope they are not.

Hi Shawn. The only message I've seen from you was a post on our HauntedPaulding Facebook page, to which I replied. I've looked in our emails (nothing's deleted) and don't see any messages. It's possible that it was lost to cyber space?

If you are refering to the Facebook page post, all the posts we had made before were lost when I merged two pages and the old one took over, to my surprise. But it was replied to. You are more than welcome to send a message or make another post there.

As far as places to check out in Paulding, really, your guess is as good as mine. Nearly all of our investigations in Paulding are residental. The non-residental locations we've gotten into has been pure luck and are less than a handful total. Even the theater stopped allowing us to investigate due to so many other teams requesting it after our movie last year. They've stopped all investigations. Maybe in the future they'll be OK with it again.

The only other place I could really say you could check out would be White Oak. But go there at your own risk as law enforcement does patrol it regularly.

I'm going to be very honest here. It may push your buttons. It may not... I don't know. But messages like this and the one I remember you leaving on the HauntedPaulding Facebook group are why we don't work with teams. They're very aggressive and it makes me want to work with you even less. I know that may sound harsh but for me it isn't. It's just how I see it.

Jumping to these assumptions is why para-unity has failed in the community as a whole.
*team doesn't reply back*
*they must be a##holes* - instead of allowing for the possibility that maybe something else happened? Server glitch? Maybe trying to contact them again? But instead you pretty much blast us here.

Look at your messages and the unfounded accusations you've thrown our way.

I have noticed this group seems to be extremely closed to others. I'm skeptical of any group that is uncooperative. No I won't be seeing the movie either.

My message above more or less answers this. We use to work with other teams and use to be all for para-unity but one flop after another and we made the decision, as a team, to not work with other investigators.

After some review, it seems this is a sequel to their first movie.

Other interesting tidbits, Chris Allen (who apparently was the original member of Paulding Paranormal) is now in Savannah doing ghost tours. However, the article about him clearly talks about the competition in Savannah for your tour dollars, but that the groups there work together.

Paulding Paranormal (apparently) had a forum crash and lost all their info.

We are creating a sequel to our first film but in a new format. Chris has nothing to do with the team any more. He's hundreds of miles away.

HauntedPaulding.com did crash.

the movie on youtube is so bad I turned it off about 10 minutes in to the hour and 8

I'm sorry you didn't like it. Maybe our new film, which is in a different format, will be more pleasing to you.

I didn't watch the movie, but I did read a comment after the trailer that they bought their "ghost box" from Radio Shack...

That's how ghost boxes use to be made. They're modified digital radios. And back then, they were all from Radio Shack.

I cracked up when the led guy...Josh said, "what had happened was" bwahahaha

Welcome to the South. Many people talk like this around here.

Also, for Shawn, I do hope you will send me a private message either through email or a Private Message on Facebook as I would like to hash this out with you. I had never heard of you or your team until recently and thus far everything has been very aggressive toward us. I would love to hash this out and talk it through with you.

Thanks!

You don't even have to feed a ghost. Much easier than a dog.

I guess there just ain't enough ghost to go around.
Plus, what if the ghost likes you better than them?

I know a few folks right now that could flat out haunt a house like nobody's bidness :laugh

No potty training either, but I hear the descendants of GD can still POOT IT UP! :'(

How does one become a ghost? My Bible doesn't tell me that this is an option for me in the hereafter... And, how does Radio Shack know how to get in touch with these dead folks? And, why will dead folks only talk through a radio? Wouldn't a phone make more sense? And, in order for the radio to communicate with dead folks, does the ghost box use "dead" batteries? Seriously, if I were a ghost, I would be like the voice in one of those horror movies that screams "GET OUT" loud enough so that no body needs a radio.

Hi LisaC. Radio Shack didn't come up with the idea, other investigators did. These days the "ghost box" is considered old school by many and not often used. We've even started to use it less and less. They don't only talk through a "radio". Look up EVP. We have had "get out" ghost box EVPs before.

I don't know that I believe in "ghosts", but as most of you know, I have had a few things happen that makes me a believer in something.
I often use the word ghost as a generic term for something paranormal happening.
I do believe that there are paranormal things that happen.
I mainly believe that because.....wait for it.....yep it's coming......I lived it.

Very good points made. "Ghosts" is a broad term for us as well, but in a different sense. And for many to believe it, they have to experience it.

Crap, I just thought of something else... I have some dead relatives that didn't seem to like me very much when they were alive. Is it possible for them to come back and haunt me? :whistle :whistle :whistle

EVP in my world means "Executive Vice President." Does that mean I get a promotion?

P.S. If you want serious questions only, then let me just go ahead and apologize now... lol

I don't know if it's a fluke or not, but I have a BLAST with my Ghost Radar app. ;D

That's one of those things I would never try, I would wet myself if I turned it on and heard, "Lisa, I've been waiting for you..."

You don't have to worry about those who have passed that didn't like you.
It's those live ones you need to keep a look out for.

As an attorney friend used to say, and yes LisaC I actually like one or two :p

"Trust NO man and walk carefully among the dead" :Ninja

Re: Paranormal in Paulding

I do not believe in the conventional term ghost as it refers to someone's spirit still residing on earth. The Bible is clear on that. What I believe them to be are demons posing as loved ones or characters in the past. They will do anything to distort God's word. As far as that John Edwards crossing over crap, well demon possession can also lend information to what you want to hear. So, can there be paranormal experiences out there? Yep but understanding them starts with knowing exactly what they are.
