It\'s hot in here!!!

I have to ask how your puppy manages to pull the same stunt 2 nights in a row?

Other than controlling the puppy...I have a ceiling fan in the bedroom, a great window fan for exhaust, and I've lately been sleeping in the basement.

The first night, she merely pulled the wiring loose and it shut the system down. Hubby replaced the wire, put it in some sort of conduit, added the fido fence around it, and spanked the puppy on the nose (he thought that would solve the problem). The next night, I come home and the system is off. I go outside and see that the sweet Angel had managed to pull up the fido fence, then pull the conduit away from the house somehow and get the wire out again. This time, it blew the transformer in the a/c. SO, hubby redid everything on Monday night, but didn't have a working spare transformer for the a/c, and we were left without a/c for the night. We have ceiling fans throughout the house so that really helped, but sleeping with the windows open killed my allergies.

Last night, he checked everything, saw where Angel had tried to get to the wiring again, but she had no success so he's on the right track. He's going to make some additional modifications to it this weekend just to make sure he keeps her away from it. But, once he installed the new transformer and ahhhhhhhh......

We're lucky that hubby knows how to work on the a/c - if we had needed to call someone to come out for those repairs, I don't think Angel would have survived.
